Friendship Gift

We're celebrating childhood friendship at Plum Pretty Sugar Loungerie today. Magical, true friendship that grows sweetly and sincerely into adulthood.

It began with correspondence from Caitlin regarding her childhood friend, Suzanne. Friends for over thirty years, Caitlin shared so very many beautiful details of their days, each of their families and their lives. Heart-felt, it touched us, truly moved us. And... it brought us so much happiness when Caitlin advised the Midnight In A Paris Garden ankle length robe she purchased for Suzanne's birthday was the prettiest gift she had ever given. A present she noted, that after 30 years... she got right.

Thank you Caitllin and Suzanne for sharing your friendship. We are honored and humbled to be a part of your story. With gratitude and kind wishes for a joyful Holiday season.

And so when we discovered Tory Burch debuted her first runway show this Fall, we found so very much delight in the behind the scenes photos of the creation, the work and talent. Inspired in part by 1920’s Deauville, a Normandy resort town and Picasso's The Bathers, the Collection is sophisticated, both colorful and pale and full of pretty inspiration.

Babylonstoren. Set in South Africa's Cape Winelands, it is a working farm and luxury hotel. The manor house dates back to 1777 and the founding farm dates to 1690. Heavens! Gorgeous!

You see, Rob purchased our Silk Road Sweet robe and cami dress set for his wife. A few weeks later and each evening after a bath, Sylvie slides into her robe and sometimes her cami dress... and gushes Rob, "her joy is easy to see!" His note continues... Project Accessory

There is much, much joy in seeing the success of a designer. Made ever-more sweet when it is the husband of a long-time colleague. David Grieco, a self-taught designer and sculptor, currently featured on Lifetime's Project Accessory, is married to Nyakio, a long-time colleague of our Plum Pretty Sugar Loungerie, Charlotte Mills. Charlotte and Nyakio worked for years in the luxury and boutique beauty industry.

David has been a fine-art sculptor for over 17 years and the creator Justice Bodan, a collection of belts, bags, jewelry and gift items. And with so much glee and felicity we root and cheer for David. We send good luck wishes to this talented artist!

Coasters Retreat

Countryside Wedding

Last Thanksgiving, long-time friends and photograph talents, Aaron and Jen Delesie popped off to England to shoot this stunning countryside wedding in Somerset, outside Bath. Their genius combined with the significant talent of wedding and event stylist, David Pressman, resulted in a heart-stopping wedding for Heather and Neal and is currently featured in Martha Stewart Travel and Destination Magazine.

And, a sweet treat for this Plum Pretty Sugar Loungerie brand to see Heather's bridesmaids swathed in our cotton and silk robes.
