We love seeing this gorgeous wedding re-posted by Ellwed. It has long been a fave and features many of our getting ready pieces as well as our rompers and dresses. Here's what Ellwed had to say:
This dream Santorini wedding of Shanshan and Philip has made
some noise in the past. Some of the important blogs and even destination
wedding magazines featured this green wedding in the past.
Although this lovely day is from 2015, we believe its styling and
simplicity are timeless. This year’s color green is trending in all
aspects. And what better greenery than olive, to represent this trend in
This Chinese Wedding in Santorini was designed to perfection by
Stella and Moscha wedding planners from Greece. The wedding theme was
green and white. On the other hand, the ceremonies on the day before and
after the wedding, were full of color. The very Greek olive branches
were in every part of this wedding. Even bridal bouquet was just green
olive. Simply beautiful! Amazingly dreamy images of this wedding were captured by Jen Huang a romantic, fine art photographer.
She shoots weddings on locations all over the world. Many industry
leaders named Jen a top wedding photographer. Her first book, “A Guide to Fine Art Wedding Photography.”
was published in 2012. Despite her very busy schedule and constant
traveling on different locations for her work, she also likes to teach. Jen offers workshops worldwide for everyone wanting to learn her techniques.
From Stella and Moscha wedding planners:
“Being in a long-distance relationship for six years and living on
different continents has made travel a big part of their lives. As
families and friends are also scattered all over, they wanted the
wedding to feel like a reunion for everyone.
Shanshan had been dreaming of honeymooning in Santorini since she was
little, so it hit them: Why not get married there so it’s even more
meaningful and memorable? Their day started with a traditional Chinese
tea ceremony and she got ready at the Chromata Hotel before heading to
Sun Rocks for the ceremony.
After cocktail hour, they headed to Aressana Spa Hotel & Suites
for Dinner Reeption. Dinner was grilled veal and sea bass in pistachio
sauce, all paired with local wine, and the weather was so beautiful that
they danced and laughed by the pool all night under the stars. Shanshan
was ecstatic with the views and the island of Santorini: ‘everywhere you look is like a postcard’.” Now check these romantic photos to see the story of this green olive wedding.
